Nevena Rupp is Director-General of Directorate-General D – Digitization and Identities at the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). Her portfolio covers key areas such as electronic identities, the national EUDI Wallet, public sector identity management including applications like border control under the Schengen framework as well as secure digitalization across sectors such as energy, automotive, IoT, e-health, and public administration. Prior to joining BSI, she held senior IT leadership roles at Deutsche Post DHL Group and worked as an international management consultant. With over 25 years of experience in digital transformation, agile methods, and innovation, she is a passionate leader who thrives on fostering diverse and empowered teams.
